At the end of the day's business, there is an opportunity
for a debate similar in purpose to a Commons
Adjournment debate. These are called unstarred
questions - and differ from the starred questions which
begin the day because they are intended to give rise to
a debate. The maximum time allowed is one and a half
hours, and the number of peers is not restricted, as in the
commons.
